History
Blue Violet Salon was established in August of 2010, and with a full remodeling, bringing in all new equipment along with expanding the professional color and retail lines we have a fresh welcoming salon for you to experience. One of my favorite things now is our new shampoo bowls that do not hurt your neck while you are leaning back! These new bowls have a kick out foot lever for your comfort and the degree you recline your head back is far less than the ‘old kind’ of bowl for a comfortable position to be shampooed in.

Meet the Business Owner
Andrea Peck
I started my career in the hair industry in 1985; during this time I have had the opportunity to experience hair salons from the small franchised no appointment necessary businesses to the larger upscale salons. There are many types of salons in the beauty industry and you as the consumer have probably been in a number of them and each one gives or leaves you with an experience. Our goal at Blue Violet Salon is to give you a positive experience where you would recommend us to your friends and family.
My two largest influences I’ve experienced in this industry came very far apart for me. My first was right after I received my Cosmetology license and worked for, assisted, and was coached by an experienced stylist who believed in the professionalism of this industry and took the time to teach and mentor. Experiences as this are what differentiate between an average stylist and stylists to whom doing hair is a chosen career, not just a job for them. The next experience has been much more recent! I learned of an organization based out of California that had an exclusive organization of Hair Colorists, and in order to gain the certification you have to test into it. So I signed up and studied the criteria they deemed mandatory for a certified haircolorist to have. And it was an incredible, inspiring experience on the actual test day. Two groups of about 20 professional hairstylists who also chose to go through this experience, we each did the hands on part of the test and the written part of the test during the 8-hour day. Now that I am certified I enjoy attending the seminars held out in Los Angeles, CA called the Energizing Summit, which is put on every year for the certified haircolorists to take amazing classes with renowned educators in our field.
